Nutmeg is the seed of the nutmeg tree. Nutmeg trees may exceed 60 feet in height and are grown widely in Grenada and Indonesia. Once the shell is removed from the seed it is dried in the sun. Here, nutmeg can be bought as whole or in powder form.
